clobenpropit and Convulsions, Grand Mal

clobenpropit has been researched along with Convulsions, Grand Mal in 1 studies

clobenpropit: histamine H3 receptor antagonist
clobenpropit : An imidothiocarbamic ester that consists of isothiourea bearing S-3-(imidazol-4-yl)propyl and N-4-chlorobenzyl substituents. An extremely potent histamine H3 antagonist/inverse agonist (pA2 = 9.93). Also displays partial agonist activity at H4 receptors; induces eosinophil shape change with an EC50 of 3 nM.

ExcerptRelevanceReference
"In amygdaloid kindled seizures, electrodes were implanted into the right amygdala and electroencephalogram was recorded bipolarly; stimulation was applied bipolarly every day by a constant current stimulator and continued until a generalized convulsion was obtained."1.32Intracerebroventricular administration of histamine H3 receptor antagonists decreases seizures in rat models of epilepsia.
