[Comparison of the effectiveness of anginin and stugeron treatment of cerebral arteriosclerosis].
Using the method of double-blind trial the effectiveness of treatment with Anginin (pyrridinolcarbamate) and Stugeron (cinnarizine) was evaluated. The somatic and mental condition and the results of motor rehabilitation of the patients were estimated. In all the evaluated elements the results of Stugeron treatment were better. The results were assessed in two groups of 20 cases each of patients with cerebral atherosclerosis observed during two months. [Comparison of the effectiveness of treatment with diverse doses of cinnarizine of patients with circulatory encephalopathy].
A single-dose cinnarizine (25 and 75 mg) was compared to its course administration (75 and 225 mg/day) in 35 patients with circulatory encephalopathy. Upon a 3-fold increase in conventional doses, there appeared more profound clinical, vasomotor cerebral and functional cerebral effects as evidenced by EEG and neuropsychological tests.
