[Successful alleviation of migraine pain with short ceruletide infusion].
    Der Anaesthesist, 1983, Volume: 32, Issue:1

Three patients with refractory migraine attacks were given Ceruletide in short intravenous infusions of 2 ng/kg/min. In all cases a substantial pain decline was achieved, in two cases the pain disappeared completely. It would be an improvement from the pharmacological point of view if migraine could be arrested by a peptide that can be easily regulated, due to its short half-life-time.

Topics: Adult; Ceruletide; Humans; Infusions, Parenteral; Middle Aged; Migraine Disorders
