bupivacaine and Injuries, Needlestick

bupivacaine has been researched along with Injuries, Needlestick in 11 studies

Bupivacaine: A widely used local anesthetic agent.
1-butyl-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)piperidine-2-carboxamide : A piperidinecarboxamide obtained by formal condensation of the carboxy group of N-butylpipecolic acid with the amino group of 2,6-dimethylaniline.
bupivacaine : A racemate composed of equimolar amounts of dextrobupivacaine and levobupivacaine. Used (in the form of its hydrochloride hydrate) as a local anaesthetic.

"A patient with complex regional pain syndrome type I of the left upper extremity was scheduled for left stellate ganglion block with the anterior paratracheal approach under fluoroscopy."1.34Ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block successfully prevented esophageal puncture. ( Narouze, S; Patel, N; Vydyanathan, A, 2007)
"Three patients had a delayed-onset hypertropia with fundus extorsion in the eye that underwent surgery, which is consistent with inferior oblique muscle overaction secondary to presumed contracture."1.29Inferior oblique muscle injury from local anesthesia for cataract surgery.
