bupivacaine and Dupuytren Contracture

bupivacaine has been researched along with Dupuytren Contracture in 5 studies

Bupivacaine: A widely used local anesthetic agent.
1-butyl-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)piperidine-2-carboxamide : A piperidinecarboxamide obtained by formal condensation of the carboxy group of N-butylpipecolic acid with the amino group of 2,6-dimethylaniline.
bupivacaine : A racemate composed of equimolar amounts of dextrobupivacaine and levobupivacaine. Used (in the form of its hydrochloride hydrate) as a local anaesthetic.

Dupuytren Contracture: A fibromatosis of the palmar fascia characterized by thickening and contracture of the fibrous bands on the palmar surfaces of the hand and fingers. It arises most commonly in men between the ages of 30 and 50.

Proportion of Patients Who Experienced Moderate to Severe Pain During First and Second Postoperative Day

Pain scores assessed using pain numerical visual scale (NVS) of 0-10 (o= no pain and 10= worst pain imaginable). We defined mild pain (NVS 0-3); moderate pain (NVS 4-6) and severe pain (NVS 7-10).The analysis of this variable at the end of the study will confirm or not the effectiveness of dPNBs for management of postoperative pain after TRA.
