berotek and Muscular Weakness

berotek has been researched along with Muscular Weakness in 1 studies

Fenoterol: A synthetic adrenergic beta-2 agonist that is used as a bronchodilator and tocolytic.
fenoterol : A member of the class resorcinols that is 5-(1-hydroxyethyl)benzene-1,3-diol in which one of the methyl hydrogens is replaced by a 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propan-2-amino group. A beta2-adrenergic agonist, it is used (as the hydrobromide salt) as a bronchodilator in the management of reversible airway obstruction.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
" We conducted an extensive dose-response study to determine the most efficacious dose of fenoterol for increasing skeletal muscle mass in adult rats and used this dose in testing the hypothesis that fenoterol may have therapeutic potential for ameliorating age-related muscle wasting and weakness."1.32Beta 2-agonist administration reverses muscle wasting and improves muscle function in aged rats.
