Immunomodulatory effects of Salvianolic acid B in a spontaneous abortion mouse model.
Journal of reproductive immunology, 2020, Volume: 137

Pregnancy is a kind of natural immune tolerance. Immune factors play an important role in recurrent spontaneous abortion and repeated implantation failure. Salvianolic acid B (SalB) has anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation and immunomodulatory functions. However, there are few reports on the relationship between SalB and maternal-fetal immune tolerance. In this study, CBA/J × DBA/2 J mice as a spontaneous abortion mouse model were given SalB. The results showed that the abortion rate was significantly decreased after SalB treatment. The populations of Nkp46 and cytotoxic CD8
