azauridine and Fetal Death

azauridine has been researched along with Fetal Death in 1 studies

Azauridine: A triazine nucleoside used as an antineoplastic antimetabolite. It interferes with pyrimidine biosynthesis thereby preventing formation of cellular nucleic acids. As the triacetate, it is also effective as an antipsoriatic.

Fetal Death: Death of the developing young in utero. BIRTH of a dead FETUS is STILLBIRTH.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
" Considering the sensitivity peaks of the morphogenetic processes which were observed, the dose-response relationships, the transformation of the teratogenic to a lethal effect and critical period extension with increasing doses, it was found that the effects of ia and im administered 6-azauridine did not differ."1.26Embryotoxicity of transplacentally and intraamniotically administered 6-azauridine in mice.
