anthranilic acid and Muscle Contraction

anthranilic acid has been researched along with Muscle Contraction in 1 studies

anthranilic acid: RN given refers to parent cpd; structure in Negwer, 5th ed, #565
anthranilic acid : An aminobenzoic acid that is benzoic acid having a single amino substituent located at position 2. It is a metabolite produced in L-tryptophan-kynurenine pathway in the central nervous system.

Muscle Contraction: A process leading to shortening and/or development of tension in muscle tissue. Muscle contraction occurs by a sliding filament mechanism whereby actin filaments slide inward among the myosin filaments.
