ammonium hydroxide and Bronchial Hyperreactivity

ammonium hydroxide has been researched along with Bronchial Hyperreactivity in 1 studies

azane : Saturated acyclic nitrogen hydrides having the general formula NnHn+2.

Bronchial Hyperreactivity: Tendency of the smooth muscle of the tracheobronchial tree to contract more intensely in response to a given stimulus than it does in the response seen in normal individuals. This condition is present in virtually all symptomatic patients with asthma. The most prominent manifestation of this smooth muscle contraction is a decrease in airway caliber that can be readily measured in the pulmonary function laboratory.

" Dose-response curves were constructed for the inflammatory reactions induced in nasal cavities, the smooth muscle hyperresponsiveness in the trachea, the permeability of alveolo-capillary barrier, the pulmonary vasomotricity, the cough reflex and the systemic effects."1.30[Effect of ammonia on the pig respiratory system.
