alfuzosin and Myocardial Ischemia

alfuzosin has been researched along with Myocardial Ischemia in 1 studies

alfuzosin: structure given in first source

Myocardial Ischemia: A disorder of cardiac function caused by insufficient blood flow to the muscle tissue of the heart. The decreased blood flow may be due to narrowing of the coronary arteries (CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE), to obstruction by a thrombus (CORONARY THROMBOSIS), or less commonly, to diffuse narrowing of arterioles and other small vessels within the heart. Severe interruption of the blood supply to the myocardial tissue may result in necrosis of cardiac muscle (MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION).

"Alfuzosin (10 mg) OD is effective and well tolerated, and it has marginal effects on blood pressure, including in elderly patients and those with hypertension, ischemic heart disease or diabetes and those receiving antihypertensive agents."3.73Age, comorbidity and hypertensive co-medication do not affect cardiovascular tolerability of 10 mg alfuzosin once daily.
