albuterol and Flaccid Quadriplegia

albuterol has been researched along with Flaccid Quadriplegia in 3 studies

Albuterol: A short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist that is primarily used as a bronchodilator agent to treat ASTHMA. Albuterol is prepared as a racemic mixture of R(-) and S(+) stereoisomers. The stereospecific preparation of R(-) isomer of albuterol is referred to as levalbuterol.
albuterol : A member of the class of phenylethanolamines that is 4-(2-amino-1-hydroxyethyl)-2-(hydroxymethyl)phenol having a tert-butyl group attached to the nirogen atom. It acts as a beta-adrenergic agonist used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

"The charts of CSCI patients admitted to a Level I trauma center from February 2008 through March 2012 were reviewed for demographics, episodes of symptomatic bradycardia (defined as heart rate < 60 beats per minute and systolic blood pressure < 90 mm Hg), use of enteral albuterol, hospital days requiring chronotropic use, and total atropine administered."7.80Enteral albuterol decreases the need for chronotropic agents in patients with cervical spinal cord injury-induced bradycardia.
