4-cresol and Chronic Kidney Disease-Mineral and Bone Disorder

4-cresol has been researched along with Chronic Kidney Disease-Mineral and Bone Disorder in 1 studies

4-cresol: RN given refers to parent cpd
p-cresol : A cresol that consists of toluene substituted by a hydroxy group at position 4. It is a metabolite of aromatic amino acid metabolism produced by intestinal microflora in humans and animals.

Chronic Kidney Disease-Mineral and Bone Disorder: Decalcification of bone or abnormal bone development due to chronic KIDNEY DISEASES, in which 1,25-DIHYDROXYVITAMIN D3 synthesis by the kidneys is impaired, leading to reduced negative feedback on PARATHYROID HORMONE. The resulting SECONDARY HYPERPARATHYROIDISM eventually leads to bone disorders.
