2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo(4,5-b)pyridine has been researched along with Inflammation in 7 studies
2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo(4,5-b)pyridine: mutagen from fried ground beef; structure given in first source
PhIP : An imidazopyridine that is 1H--imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine which is substituted at positions 1, 2, and 6 by methyl, amino, and phenyl groups, respectively. It is the most abundant of the mutagenic heterocyclic amines found in cooked meat and fish.
Inflammation: A pathological process characterized by injury or destruction of tissues caused by a variety of cytologic and chemical reactions. It is usually manifested by typical signs of pain, heat, redness, swelling, and loss of function.

"Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy in females, the etiology being multifactorial and includes the role of lifestyle exposure to DNA-damaging chemicals such as dietary carcinogens benzo (a) pyrene (BaP) and 2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo [4, 5-b] pyridine (PhIP)." | 1.51 | Interleukin-6 selectively induces drug metabolism to potentiate the genotoxicity of dietary carcinogens in mammary cells. "Considering the increased colon cancer risk associated with chronic colitis, we have therefore examined the effects of long-acting hGly(2)GLP-2, as well as of endogenous GLP-2 using the antagonist hGLP-2(3-33) in two novel models of inflammation-associated colon cancer: rats fed the carcinogen 2-Amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (PhIP) and a high-fat diet (HFD) for one or three cycles, and mice with chronic dextran sodium-sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis administered AOM." | 1.38 | Glucagon-like peptide-2 increases dysplasia in rodent models of colon cancer. " Because H and E sections of the myocardium from IQ-treated animals demonstrated inflammatory infiltrate and studies of IQ-DNA adducts in monkeys, by the 32P-postlabeling method, showed high levels of adducts in the heart a systematic study of cardiac pathologic changes associated with chronic administration of IQ was undertaken." | 1.29 | Studies on the carcinogenic and myocardial effects of 2-amino-3-methylimidazo [4,5-f] quinoline (IQ) in nonhuman primates.
