[Coumarins from Peucedanum harry-smithii var. subglabrum].
The root of Peucedanum harry-smithii var. subglabrum was extracted with methanol, then separated with solvents at different polarity into four fractions: aqueous (H2O), ethyl acetate (AcOEt), chloroform (CHCl3) and petroleum ether (DAB-6). From AcOEt psoralen, bargapten, xanthotoxin, marmesin, umbelliferone, scopoletin, (+/-) peuformosin, Pd-I b, (+/-) selinidin, praeruptorin D were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel, using petroleum ether/ethyl acetate as eluent. The structures of the coumarins were identified by 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Topics: Apiaceae; Coumarins; Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy; Plant Roots; Umbelliferones | 2009 |
[Studies on chemical constituents of the roots of Angelica pubescens].
To study the chemical constituents of the roots of Angelica pubescens.. Fresh roots of Angelica pubescens were extracted with EtOH,the chemical constituents in the extract were isolated by column chromatography as macroporous absorption resin, and ODS etc. Their structures were confirmed by spectral analysis (NMR, MS).. Seven compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as nodakenetin (I), umbelliferone (II), columbianetin (III), beta-D-glucosyl-columbianetin (IV), columbianin (V), tert. -O-beta-D- glucopyranosyl -(R)-by-akangelicin (VI) and sec. -O-beta-D- glucopyranosyl-(R) -byakangelicin (VII).. Compound IV, VI and VII are isolated from Angelica pubescens for the first time. Topics: Aconitine; Angelica; Coumarins; Furocoumarins; Glucosides; Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy; Molecular Structure; Plant Roots; Plants, Medicinal; Umbelliferones | 2008 |
