Klinicheskaia meditsina, 1997, Volume: 75, Issue:7 A 5% ointment acycloguanosine was tried in the treatment of recurrent herpes simplex of the skin and genitalia in 48 patients. The treatment brought limitation of the process, relief of the symptoms, control of local manifestations and toxicity, accelerated epithelization, complete regression and disappearance of the eruption.
