Description

Also known as N-Acetylglucosamine-6-sulphate, this compound is a derivative of glucosamine. It is a building block for the synthesis of various glycosaminoglycans, which are important components of cartilage and other connective tissues. The compound is also involved in various biological processes, including cell signaling and inflammation. Studies have shown that it can potentially be used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and other joint diseases. The compound is synthesized by reacting glucosamine with acetic anhydride and sulfuryl chloride.'
