Description

1,2-dimethylnaphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) that is a constituent of coal tar. It has been studied for its potential environmental and health effects. It has been found to be mutagenic in bacteria and carcinogenic in rodents. It is also a component of diesel exhaust and other combustion products. '
